Yeah, we’ve all been there. Especially when top management is involved, it’s easy for some voices to dominate while others just go along with the flow. This is pretty common in our Indonesian corporate culture where there’s a high power distance between bosses and subordinates.
But hey, who said it has to be this way?
We recently had the pleasure of working with Otogard, running a brand workshop using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method. The workshop brought together participants from different levels within the company, creating a truly inclusive environment.
With LSP, we shifted from the usual 20-80 dynamic, where a few people lead the conversation, to a 100-100 experience. This means everyone, from junior staff to senior execs, had an equal opportunity to share their ideas and contribute to the discussion.
The results were amazing! Otogard was able to tap into the collective intelligence of their team, fostering creativity and collaboration. This approach not only generated innovative brand strategies but also ensured that everyone felt heard and valued.
